We first met in our twenties and formed a beautiful, effortless friendship — the kind that felt light, genuine, and easy. But life had chapters we still needed to live. We walked different paths, raised our children, grew through our own experiences, and became the people we were meant to be.
Looking back, Ray often reminds me of Romans 8:28 — that “all things work together for the good of those who love God.” He always says he’s grateful we didn’t rush into something too soon, only to grow apart. Instead, God allowed life to prepare us for each other — and brought us back together when the timing was right.
Years later, what started as a simple conversation unexpectedly turned into a full-circle moment — a gentle reminder that love doesn’t always arrive when you hope it will, but it returns exactly when it’s meant to.
From that moment on, everything just aligned…
